The benchmarking data included here represent preliminary findings
from the 2021 PLANSPONSOR Defined Contribution (DC)
Survey, an annual online survey of plan sponsors conducted from
September to November. The questionnaire explores plan design
features, investment offerings, oversight practices and participant
outcomes. Survey results are meant to inform existing plan
governance processes; the insights summarized here do not represent
advice on any aspect of plan design. Please discuss results
with a trusted retirement plan expert prior to taking action. Additional data are
available and can be segmented by plan size, industry, geography,
etc.
